Nicole Parker, Ph.D., LMSW, LMFT
Dr. Parker specializes in treating couples and families, as well as providing therapy for individual anxiety and adolescent struggles. She draws from scientifically supported models of therapy such as cognitive processing, emotionally-focused couples work, parent management training and attachment-based family models. Dr. Parker uses a goal-oriented approach to psychotherapy services, to provide supportive yet effective treatment.
She received her MSW and doctoral degree in Couples and Family Therapy from Michigan State University, where she now works as a clinical instructor in the Master’s program. When working with families she draws on her years as a teacher, and excels at work with adolescents. Dr. Parker is passionate about collaborating with schools, primary care providers, and other community resources to advocate for clients.
