Max Albulov, LMSW
My role as School Social Worker for Walled Lake Schools over the past 5 years has offered me a first hand glimpse into the challenges and pressures experienced by children and teens in today’s world. The opportunity to work with individuals in this community while supporting positive mental health is my passion. I have experience working with children and teens who struggle with anxiety, depression, interpersonal relationships, family issues, conduct disorders, and substance abuse. I include family members in my treatment process as necessary. I also work with adults.
It is my belief that the foundation of any therapeutic relationship must be built on a strong rapport. This is a core element of my practice. My approach can be described as solution-focused in nature, utilizing the fundamentals of cognitive behavioral therapy. My goal is to help clients develop tools for independently managing emotions, as well as to effectively navigate through life’s complex challenges.
I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Wayne State University.
