Mary Fanslow, LLMSW
Mary Fanslow is a Licensed Psychotherapist committed to treating adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her clinical interests lie in mood disorders, trauma, relational conflict, women’s issues, and improving self-esteem. Her training and experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings allowed her to develop skills and competency in these areas.
Mary is a nurturing and direct therapist who tailors treatment to collaboratively defined goals. She believes it is important to integrate past and present experiences to create meaningful change. She prefers to utilize both behavioral and psychodynamic therapy to reframe thought processes and gain insight into the patterns of our lives. She is passionate about providing a space for growth and transformation.
Mary received her bachelor’s degree in Philosophy from DePaul University and her master’s degree in Social Work from Loyola University Chicago. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and received certification in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics from The Neurosequential Network in 2018.
