Kelsie Silzell, LMSW
Kelsie Silzell is a licensed psychotherapist who provides therapy to children, teens, adults, and families. Kelsie’s diverse professional experiences include working in a center for grieving children & adults, a women’s homeless shelter, a community mental health center, as well as an outpatient therapy agency. Kelsie strives to provide a healing, non-judgemental, and person-centered experience of growth for her clients.
Kelsie is working toward becoming certified in trauma-focused therapy to aid individuals who have experienced traumatic events that have impacted their quality of life. She has also worked in a group-therapy setting, primarily focusing on Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
Kelsie received her bachelors in Psychology from Michigan State University and earned her Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. Kelsie focuses on coordination with additional healthcare providers, schools, as well as family members in order to create an effective, complementary therapy experience that creates long-term and effective changes for the client.
