Karen Kazyak, MA, LLP
Karen is a Humanistically trained Master’s level Psychologist who has been in private practice since 1995. Drawn to the profession by her own compassionate heart and fascination with the human condition, Karen feels blessed to serve the community in a way that continues to feed her soul.
She is a relationship builder and believes that the potency of therapy is contingent on the trust and safety co-created by therapist and client. Karen is most effective with individuals, couples and families who are motivated to make meaningful change in their lives. Her clients range in age from older children to seasoned adults.
As a practicing Body Mind Practitioner since 1990 Karen brings a special expertise to Mindful Psychology And Wellness. She has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 1990, and a Registered Yoga Instructor since 2003. Karen brings a holistic perspective to each and every Psychotherapy session. Whether it is a chronic soft tissue pattern created by repetitive strain or a self-defeating emotional tape that keeps playing over and over in one’s mind, dysfunctional patterns create pain and pain motivates change. The body tells all, while the mind often takes a circuitous path.
Whether you are experiencing stress, anxiety, loss, grief, depression, navigating through a medical diagnosis or soul-searching for a more fulfilling existence, Karen would be honored to assist you on your journey. She believes that it is the most courageous individual who enters the therapeutic process. “ Each and everyone of us deserves to be the best versions of ourselves. Reclaim your joy!”
Karen sees clients in both Commerce and Brighton as well as by telehealth.
