About Jennie
Jennie Wilcox, LLMSW

Jennie Wilcox, LLMSW is a licensed social worker experienced in crisis intervention, treatment for anxiety and depression and helping individuals learn to cope with past and present trauma. Her training has included work within the school system and the court system. She works with children, teens and adults and enjoys working with couples and families to find effective and long-lasting solutions to relationship barriers. Jennie combines effective listening with compassionate conversation to allow individuals to learn to take control of their emotions and lives. Jennie believes that deciding to come to therapy is the first step in improving one’s life, and says,“While there are moments in life that challenge us, making us feel defeated and lost, my goal is to provide constructive therapy that can help bring you out of that feeling giving you hope, courage, and confidence. I believe in a strengths-based approach, allowing an individual to see what they have overcome as a way of strength, and growth. I believe that couples and families can be saved and reunited with nonjudgmental therapeutic help.”
Jennie received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and her master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Wayne State University.
